Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career as a young person just after moving to the United States. She came to prominence for her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub, who was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and her left antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got an GED. She continued however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
